Transport Minister: Nearly All Repairs on Railway Tracks Will Be Finished by 2029

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport and Communications Grozdan Karadjov said here on Tuesday that train delays in the country are mainly due to repairs on railway tracks. Freight Transport Rises by 5.8% in Q1 2025, National Statistical Institute Data Says

In the first quarter of 2025, the volume of goods transported by land and water freight transport increased by 5.8% compared to the same period in 2024. However, the transport work performed (measured in ton-kilometers) decreased by 2.5%, according to preliminary data from the National Statistical Institute (NSI), published on Tuesday.
