DB Schenker now offers a regular connection between Bulgaria and Sweden

Quick distribution of goods with new regular service for groupage and part loads Bulgaria- Sweden- Bulgaria.

(Sofia, 04 January 2016) DB Schenker now offers a regular groupage connection between Bulgaria and Sweden. As of 15th of January 2016, the logistics service provider is offering a new weekly service from Sofia to the Scandinavian country and reverse. The company uses groupage land transportation to the country of destination and further distribution within the DB Schenker network, as well as a possible integrated door-to-door delivering solution.

“The new line would be of a great benefit to the industry concerned. As the departures are scheduled and regular, the advantages to our customers are clarity and certainty on one hand and shorter lead times, as well as better quotes on the other hand”, explains Mrs. Madlen Raynova, head of System Freight Land Transport at DB Schenker in Bulgaria.

The new groupage line starts on weekly basis, with departures from DB Schenker logistics terminals Sofia (BG) and Malmo (SWE) every Friday and Saturday, accordingly. The planned transit time takes up to 5 days, in each direction. This new service is valid both for general and hazardous (ADR) cargo. Furthermore, in order to manage their logistics processes efficiently, quickly and conveniently, customers may benefit from all available features of the web based eSchenker portal, such as online booking, scheduling, tracking and more.
