Pleven, North Central Bulgaria, August 6 (BTA) - A total of 152 projects are currently implemented under the Operation Programme Innovations and Competitiveness across the country, said Monday Nikoleta Mincheva of the Regional Information Centre in Pleven.

Seventy-eight of these projects are in northwestern Bulgaria. Twenty-six companies in Pleven have introduced innovations assisted by the programme. Mincheva said that one fifth of all projects for introducing innovations in enterprises are being implemented in the region of Pleven. RQ/PP
