December 22 (BTA) - A total of 1,277 people have been
diagnosed with coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours,
out of 4,304 PCR tests performed, according to data on the
national coronavirus portal on Tuesday morning. The test positivity rate currently stands at around 29,67 per cent.

The total number of COVID-19 infections in Bulgaria has reached 192,472.

The active cases are 83,041. Currently, the hospitalized patients number 6,208, including 523 in intensive care

A total of 102,666 people have recovered from the virus, up by 2,908 in the last 24 hours.

In the past day there were 156 fatalities, which brings the death toll up to 6,765. RI/DT
