January 28 (BTA) - The Bulgarian healthcare authorities
confirmed 598 new COVID-19 cases in the country in the past 24
hours, out of 13,279 tests performed, according to information
posted at http://coronavirus.bg. The test positivity rate stands
 at 4.50 per cent.

There are currently 26,448 active cases of COVID-19, with 2,857
people hospitalized, including 281 in intensive care.

The number of COVID-19 deaths the past 24 hours is 28 and
recoveries number 627.

A total of 3,795 people were vaccinated against the virus in the
