Sofia, April 2 (BTA) - The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in
 Bulgaria reached 346,327, after 18,502 tests identified 3,694
new infections on Thursday, according to data posted on
https://coronavirus.bg/. The test positivity rate now stands at
19.9 per cent.

Sofia Region tops the list of new cases with 942 positive tests,
 followed by Varna with 352 cases and Plovdiv with 281.

The active cases are 70,919. Currently, the hospitalized
patients number 10,152, including 747 in intensive care.

The infected medical staff have reached 12,026, with 70 new
cases detected over the last 24 hours.

Another 2,534 COVID-19 patients have recovered over the last 24
hours, bringing the total to 262,095.

Some 116 fatalities were reported, and the death toll now adds
up to 13,313.

With 13,559 new inoculations over the last 24 hours, 486,002
persons in aggregate have been vaccinated against the
coronavirus, of whom 97,407 have received both doses. NV/ZH
