April 4 (BTA) - The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in
 Bulgaria reached 352,259, after 10,648 tests identified 1,919
new infections on Saturday, according to data posted on
https://coronavirus.bg/. The test positivity rate now stands at
18 per cent per cent.

Sofia City Region tops the list of new cases with 481 positive
tests, followed by Burgas Region with 256 cases and Varna Region
 with 216.

The active cases are 69,177. Currently, the hospitalized
patients number 10,521, including 758 in intensive care.

The infected medical staff have reached 12,129.

Another 3,484 COVID-19 patients have recovered over the last 24
hours, bringing the total to 269,575.

Sixty-nine fatalities were reported, and the death toll now adds
 up to 13,507.

With 3,993 new inoculations over the last 24 hours, 502,078
persons in aggregate have been vaccinated against the
coronavirus, of whom 100,564 have received both doses. PP
