April 4 (BTA) - Of the 6,986 candidates for Bulgaria's
45th Parliament, 2,073 are women and 4,913 are men. A total of
1,035 candidates have been registered in two regions, well over
the 668 in the previous parliamentary elections in 2017, Dimitar
 Dimitrov, a member and spokesman for the Central Election
Commission, told reporters on Sunday.

The advocates of the parties and coalitions number 28,520, of
which 167 are abroad. There are five polling agencies monitoring
 the elections, with 1,400 pollsters. There are also six
international observer organizations, with 129 individual
observers. The Bulgarian organizations observing the elections
are 30, consisting of 3,372 people. RY/DT
