Sofia, April 5 (BTA) - The prosecuting magistracy has opened 38
pretrial proceedings over infringement of citizens' political
rights, show data of the corresponding units at the Interior
Ministry, the State Agency for National Security, and the
prosecution service that have summarized the alerts received in
relation to the April 4 general elections. As at noon on Monday,
 charges were brought against 12 persons.

In relation to the pretrial proceedings, the authorities have
conducted house searches, done confiscations, and questioned
witnesses. The evidence is yet to be analysed.
 
A total of 665 files have been opened at the prosecution service
 in relation to the alerts received.
