Sofia, April 8 (BTA) - The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in
 Bulgaria reached 364,419 after 17,713 tests identified 3,556
new infections on Wednesday, according to data posted on
https://coronavirus.bg/. The test positivity rate now stands at
20.08 per cent.

Sofia City Region tops the list of new cases with 815 positive
tests, followed by Plovdiv Region with 347 cases and Varna
Region with 338.

The active cases are 71,720. Currently, the hospitalized
patients number 10,429, including 777 in intensive care.

The infected medical staff have reached 12,368.

Another 2,477 COVID-19 patients have recovered over the last 24
hours, bringing the total to 278,665.

One hundred and sixteen fatalities were reported, and the death
toll now adds up to 14,034.

With 13,819 new inoculations over the last 24 hours, 533,453
persons in aggregate have been vaccinated against the
coronavirus, of whom 107,747 have received both doses. NV/LG
