Sofia, April 18 (BTA) - The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases
in Bulgaria reached 385,963. after 7,822 tests identified 1,076
new infections on Saturday, according to data posted on
https://coronavirus.bg/. The test positivity rate now stands at
13.8 per cent.

Sofia City Region tops the list of new cases with 277 positive
tests, followed by Varna Region with 114 cases and Burgas Region
 with 108.

The active cases are 65,588. Currently, the hospitalized
patients number 9,204, including 797 in intensive care.

The infected medical staff have reached 12,846.

Another 1,204 COVID-19 patients have recovered over the last 24
hours, bringing the total to 305,237.

Thirty-eight fatalities were reported, and the death toll now
adds up to 15,138.

With 3,087 new inoculations over the last 24 hours, 637,216
persons in aggregate have been vaccinated against the
coronavirus, of whom 128,020 have received both doses. PP
