Sofia, May 17 (BTA) - The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in
Bulgaria reached 414,192 after 4,309 tests identified 151 new
infections on Sunday, according to data posted on
https://coronavirus.bg/ on Monday. The test positivity rate now
stands at 3.5 per cent.

The active cases are 34,458. Currently, the hospitalized
patients number 4,858, including 499 in intensive care.

Another 148 COVID-19 patients have recovered over the last 24
hours, bringing the total to 362,475.

Nine fatalities were reported, and the death toll now adds up to
 17,259.

With 3,390 new inoculations over the last 24 hours, 1,116,741
persons in aggregate have been vaccinated against the
coronavirus. LN/
