May 18 (BTA) - The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in
Bulgaria reached 414,869. after 16,505 tests identified 677 new
infections on Monday, according to data posted on
https://coronavirus.bg/. The test positivity rate now stands at
4.1 per cent.

Sofia City Region tops the list of new cases with 113 positive
tests, followed by Stara Zagora Region with 73 cases and Plovdiv
 Region with 49.

The active cases are 32,844. Currently, the hospitalized
patients number 4,592, including 490 in intensive care.

The infected medical staff have reached 13,350.

Another 2,207 COVID-19 patients have recovered over the last 24
hours, bringing the total to 364,682.

Eighty-four fatalities were reported, and the death toll now
adds up to 17,343.

With 18,236 new inoculations over the last 24 hours, 1,134,977
persons in aggregate have been vaccinated against the
coronavirus, of whom 425,971 have received both doses. PP
