Sofia, June 3 (BTA) - The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in
Bulgaria reached 419,010, after 12,042 tests identified 197 new
infections on Wednesday, according to data posted on
https://coronavirus.bg/. The test positivity rate now stands at
just over 1.6 per cent.

Sofia City Region tops the list of new cases with 34 positive
tests, followed by Plovdiv Region with 17 cases and Veliko
Turnovo with 16.

The active cases are 16,486. Currently, the hospitalized
patients number 2,881, including 326 in intensive care.
 
The number of infected medical staff has reached 13,417, with
seven new cases detected since Monday.

Another 1,012 COVID-19 patients have recovered over the last 24
hours, bringing the total to 384,777.

Twenty-one fatalities were reported, and the death toll now adds
 up to 17,747.

With 21,992 new inoculations over the last 24 hours, 1,405,952
persons in aggregate have received a coronavirus vaccination so
far, including 586,620 who are fully vaccinated.
