June 4. (BTA) - The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in
 Bulgaria reached 419,180, after 15,295 tests identified 170 new
 infections on Thursday, according to data posted on
https://coronavirus.bg/. The test positivity rate now stands at
1.11 per cent.

Sofia City Region tops the list of new cases with 46 positive
tests, followed by Plovdiv and Blagoevgrad regions with 15 each.

The active cases are 16,117. Currently, the hospitalized
patients number 2,765, including 309 in intensive care.

The infected medical staff have reached 13,422, with 5 new cases
 detected since Wednesday.

Another 494 COVID-19 patients have recovered over the last 24
hours, bringing the total to 385,271.

Forty-five fatalities were reported, and the death toll now adds
 up to 17,792.

With 23,158 new inoculations over the last 24 hours, 1,429,105
persons in aggregate have received a coronavirus vaccination so
far, including 601,402 who are fully vaccinated. RY/LG
