Sofia, June 5 (BTA) - The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in
Bulgaria reached 419,337, after 14,275 tests identified 157 new
infections on Friday, according to data posted on
https://coronavirus.bg/. The test positivity rate now stands at
1.09 per cent.

Sofia City Region tops the list of new cases with 29 positive
tests, followed by Plovdiv Region with 16 cases and Varna Region
 with 12.

The active cases are 15,196. Currently, the hospitalized
patients number 2,629, including 293 in intensive care.

The infected medical staff have reached 13,424.

Another 660 COVID-19 patients have recovered over the last 24
hours, bringing the total to 385,931.

Eighteen fatalities were reported, and the death toll now adds
up to 17,810.

With 21,757 new inoculations over the last 24 hours, 1,450, 850
persons in aggregate have received a coronavirus vaccination so
far, including 616,035 who are fully vaccinated. PP
