Ankara, September 6 (BTA) - Bulgarian News Agency Director General Kiril Valchev Monday visited the headquarters of Anadolu Agency, the Turkish news agency reported. He was welcomed at the headquarters in Ankara by Serdar Karagoz, the agency's Director General, and Yusuf Ozhan, the Deputy Director General and Editor-in-Chief.

Valchev highlighted the importance of improving relations between the two news agencies, and the key role media plays in developing relations among regional countries.

On his part, Karagoz talked about Anadolu Agency's global news presence and journalistic work.
