Justice Minister Stoilov Confers with CoE Secretary General

October 26 (BTA) - Bulgarian Justice Minister Yanaki
 Stoilov on Tuesday conferred with Council of Europe (CoE)
Secretary General Maria Pejcinovic-Buric and Chrstos
Giakoumopoulos, Director General of CoE's Directorate General
Human Rights and Rule of Law, Stoilov's ministry said.

The CoE Secretary General raised issues which are of great
interest for the Council.

During the meeting Stoilov and Pejcinovic-Buric discussed
cooperation between Bulgaria and the organization within the
context of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.

Minister Stoilov briefed the CoE officials about the steps which
 Bulgaria takes in order to introdcue e-justice, increase the
accountability of the prosecutor general within the current
constitutional framework and the road map for the implementation
 of the judgments of the European Court of Human Rights, adopted
 by the Council of Ministers in August 2021. VE/PP
