Bulgaria Hosts Joint Training with UK Involving Special Forces Personnel
Sofia, November 8 (BTA) - For yet another year in a row, Bulgaria is hosting a joint training event with the UK involving Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) personnel, the Defence Ministry in Sofia said in a press release on Monday.
During the first stage of the event, which was completed on November 5, newly appointed combat orderlies of the JSOC Special Operations Forces groups underwent military medical training.
They honed their knowledge and skills in securing and extracting casualties, giving first aid, securing and transporting casualties to an evacuation point where they undergo a second checkup, have their injuries treated and are prepared for transportation to the nearest hospital for specialist medical care.
