Sofia, November 10 (BTA) - According to the preliminary data in September 2021, the Industrial Production Index, seasonally adjusted, increased by 1.6 per cent compared with August 2021, the National Statistical Institute said on Wednesday. In September 2021, the calendar adjusted Industrial Production Index rose by 10.5 per cent in comparison with the same month of 2020.

In September 2021, month-on-month, the seasonally adjusted Industrial Production Index rose in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply by 6.6 per cent and in manufacturing by 1.1 per cent. It fell in mining and quarrying industry by 0.5 per cent.

On an annual basis in September 2021, the Industrial Production Index calculated from calendar adjusted data rose in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply by 28.5 per cent, in mining and quarrying industry by 20.1 per cent and in manufacturing by 7.1 per cent. LG/KK
