Bulgaria's Elections Abroad Kick off

Sofia, November 13 (BTA) - Bulgaria's two-in-one vote has begun in New Zealand. At 8 p.m. Bulgarian time (7 a.m. local time on November 14, 2021) the polling station in Christchurch opened its doors to Bulgarian citizens who wish to vote in the elections for President, Vice President and National Assembly, the press centre of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

Bulgarians abroad can exercise their right to vote in a total of 750 sections in 68 countries. The largest number of polling stations is in Great Britain - 132, followed by Turkey - 126, Germany - 82, Spain - 69, USA - 55, Greece - 26.

The last polling stations to close will be in the US states of California, Arizona and Nevada, where election day ends at 6 a.m. Bulgarian time on Monday, November 15, 2021.

The addresses of the polling stations are published on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the following link: https://mfa.bg/bg/3715/, and the lists for voting abroad are available at: https://mfa.bg/bg/3714/.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs once again expresses its gratitude to the Bulgarian communities abroad that got involved and helped in the preparation and organization of the vote abroad, the statement said.
