Bulgarian Tennis Chief Stefan Tzvetkov Elected Member of Tournament Council of Association of Tennis Professionals

November 22 (BTA) - Bulgarian Tennis Federation (BTF) President and Sofia Open Tournament Chairman, Stefan Tzvetkov, was elected European Group member of the Tournament Council of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), BTF said Monday.

The newly elected European Group consists of eight members and its 3-year mandate will start on January 1, 2022. The Group organizes all European ATP tournaments, including the most prestigious ones in the ATP Tour - four "Masters 1000" (in Madrid, Rome, Paris and Monte Carlo), seven "ATP 500" and 19 "ATP 250" (including Sofia Open).

Tzvetkov is also a member of the Boards of Directors of the International Tennis Federation and Hopman Cup PTY. He is former Vice-president of the European Tennis Federation (Tennis Europe) and one of its lifelong honorary advisors. Tzvetkov is a member of the Board of Directors of the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR-USA). He is also Bulgarian President of the Global Professional Tennis Coach Association and International Lawn Tennis Club - Bulgaria.
