Finance Ministry Reopens 7.5-Year Government Securities
Sofia, November 23 (BTA) - The Finance Ministry announced Monday the reopening of an issue of 7.5-year lev-denominated government securities maturing on May 24, 2029.
The auction resulted in successful placement of government securities with an aggregate nominal value of 500 million leva at a weighted average income of 0.49 per cent.
The subscribed amount totalled 808.75 million leva, which is a bid-to-cover ratio of 1.62. The banks acquired the largest quantity of government securities (64.6 per cent), followed by pension funds (23.7 per cent), insurance companies (7.3 per cent), and other investors (4.4 per cent). LN/KK
