Sofia, December 27 (BTA) - President Rumen Radev expressed his condolences on the death of the famous Greek statesman and politician Karolos Papoulias, president of Greece in the period 2005-2015, said the press office of the head of State.

"For us, he will leave the memory of a great friend of Bulgaria, who laid the foundations of modern Bulgarian-Greek relations in a difficult period of development of our neighboring and friendly countries," said Rumen Radev highlighted the great diplomatic abilities of Papoulias, who left a bright mark in international circles.
