January 19 (BTA) - A joint Bulgarian-American training
has started at the Novo Selo Range, and it will last until June
30, 2022, the Ministry of Defence said on Tuesday. Forces and
equipment of the Ministry of Defence, the structures directly
subordinated to the Minister and the Bulgarian Armed Forces will
 take part in the exercises.

In connection with the training this week, redeployment of
servicemen with the necessary equipment, staff weaponry and
ammunition from the US Armed Forces, as well as infantry
fighting vehicles M2A3 Bradley, M1A2 Abrams tanks, helicopters,
transport, auxiliary and repair equipment.
 
The joint training at the Novo Selo training area will include
shootings and military helicopter training flights. The exercise
 is organized within the framework of the joint exercises of the
 Bulgarian Armed Forces in the country and abroad planned for
2021, which will be held this year, the Ministry of Defence
added.
