Bulgarian Officials Attend Observances of Gotse Delchev's 150th Birth Anniversary in Skopje

- On the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of Gotse
Delchev (1872-1903), senior officials of Bulgaria and North
Macedonia laid wreaths at the freedom fighter's tomb in the yard
of the Sveti Spas Church in Skopje on Friday.
The Bulgarian delegation includes Foreign Minister Teodora
Genchovska, Deputy Foreign Minister Velislava Petrova, National
Assembly Media Committee Chair Toshko Yordanov and Member of the
European Parliament Ilhan Kyuchyuk. BTA Director General Kiril
Valchev, who is part of the delegation, also paid floral
tribute to the revolutionary's final resting place.
At the wreath-laying ceremony, North Macedonia was represented
by Culture Minister Bisera Kostadinova and Deputy Foreign
Minister Fatmire Isaki. LN/LG
