February 15 (BTA) - According to preliminary data of the National Statistical Institute released on Tuesday, the monthly inflation in January 2022 compared to the preceding month was 1.5 per cent. The annual inflation in January 2022 compared to January of last year was 9.1 per cent.  
 
The annual average inflation measured between the months of February 2021 and January 2020 and compared to the previous 12 months (February 2020 and January 2021) was 4.1 per cent.
