Producer Price Index in Industry
0.9% Down in January

Sofia, February 27 (BTA) - The Producer Price Index on the
domestic market decreased by 0.9 per cent compared to the
previous month. The domestic prices fell by 1.9 per cent in the
manufacturing and by 0.8 per cent in the mining industry,
while, in the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning
supply, the prices rose by 0.6 per cent.

The Producer Price Index on the domestic market in January 2015
dropped by
1.9 per cent compared to the same month of 2014. The domestic
prices rose by 4.1 per cent in the electricity, gas, steam and
air conditioning supply, while price drops were registered in
the manufacturing - by 5.3 per cent and in the mining and
quarrying industry by 3 per cent.

The Total Producer Price Index in Industry in January 201 5
decreased by 1.2 per cent compared to the previous month. Lower
prices were registered in the manufacturing by 2.0 per cent and
in the mining and quarrying industry by 0.6 per cent, while in
the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply the
prices rose by 0.7 per cent.

The Total Producer Price Index in January 2015 decreased by 2.9
per cent compared to the same month of 2014 . In the
manufacturing, the prices fell by 5.3 per cent compared to
January 2014 . More significant price drop was seen in the
manufacture of food products by 1. 5 per cent, in the printing
and reproduction of recorded media by 0.6 per cent, while the
producer prices went up in the manufacture of other transport
equipment - by 8.5 per cent, in the manufacture of wearing
apparel by 3.9 per cent and in the manufacture of computer,
electronic and optical products by 3.2 per cent. /ТК/
