Hans-Gert Poettering Launches Memoir Book

Sofia, March 13 (BTA) - Prime Minister Boyko Borissov attended
the launch of Hans-Gert Poettering's memoirs "We Are United for
the Better. My European Way" on Friday. Also attending were
Parliament Chairperson Tsetska Tsacheva, ministers, MPs, Sofia
Mayor Yordanka Fandakova and senior clergy.

Poettering is Chairman of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.

Borissov opened his address by saying that he was glad to see so
 many friends and like-minded people among the capacity
audience. He noted the presence of representatives of the
centre-right part of the political spectrum. Borissov said that
the book's title, "We Are United for the Better", sent a message
 to all of them. "You know how divided we were, we did not
support one another even in Brussels. Now we have a good,
stable, centre-right reformist government with a future," he
said.

The Prime Minister thanked the Konrad Adenauer and Hanns Seidel
Foundations for their support. He said at least a further 5,000
copies of the book would be printed due to the great interest in
 it. All the proceeds will be donated to the children's ward of
the hospital in the southern Rakovski Municipality.
