Ten-year Old Girl from Rousse to
Play in New York's
Carnegie Hall

Rousse, on the Danube, March 17 (BTA) - The Rousse municipal
foundation called, "Rousse: A City of Free Spirit", sends
10-year-old Rousse-born girl Theresa Todorova to the United
States where the girl is to receive her award for child music
prodigies from the American Protege competition, the Rousse
local administration said.

The young piano player and singer is to play in a gala of the
winners in the competition in Carnegie Hall on March 21. Two
days after that Todorova is to give a concert to the Bulgarian
community in New York.

For her concerts in the United States Todorova, who studies in
the National Arts School, has prepared piano pieces by Schumann
and Chopin. She will also sing popular Bulgarian songs.

Todorova's trip to the United States is made possible thanks to
the Rousse municipal foundation, who has included the young
musician in its Rousse Faces campaign. PK /ZH/
