Bulgarian Yasen Georgiev  Winner in Sony World Photography Open Travel Category

London, April 1 (BTA) - Bulgarian medical student Yasen Georgiev
is the winner in the Travel category of the Sony World
Photography Awards - 2015 Open Competition, the contest's
organizers told BTA.

Georgiev's achievement is remarkable, as he is not a
professional photographer and the jury selected his photograph
titled "Winter Sleep" from over 80,000 other entries.

The winning photo will be exhibited at London's Somerset House
between April 24 and May 10. Georgiev is entitled to compete
with the other nine winners in the different categories for
Photographer of the Year at the Sony World Photography Awards.
The prize is the equivalent of 5,000 US dollars.
