Shoumen Choir Declared European Envoy of Choir Art

Shoumen, Northeastern Bulgaria, April 3 (BTA) - The Shoumen
Bodra Pessen choir with conductor Denitsa Ouzounova has been
declared a European envoy of choir art. The prestigious award
was handed by Jean Pierre Van Avermaet, Secretary General of the
 European Federation for Choirs of the Union, during the
International Children's Choirs Festival taking place in
Shoumen.

The programme of the event includes many creative meetings,
discussions,  presentations of sheet music, and concerts.

The festival continues until April 5.
