Puts Out Guide
for SMEs


Sofia, April 16 (BTA) - A guide for small and mid-sized enterprises (SMEs) has been published on the website of the Ministry of Economy. The Guide has been specifically designed to facilitate businesses as they search for information and access to legislation, and struggle to handle the complicated administrative procedures in Bulgaria, the Ministry said.

The guide was developed under a EU-funded project, Tools for Assisting SMEs in Bulgaria with Regulatory Compliance. The Ministry of Economy was the project beneficiary. The project was implemented by PwC in cooperation with the European Commission's Structural Reform Support Service.

With this web guide, the entrepreneurs will benefit from fast and easy access to simplified presentations of a large number of business operations that are challenging and cumbersome, especially for small enterprises and start-ups.

The guide for SMEs was launched Tuesday in the presence of representatives of businesses, public authorities, the European Commission. LY/LN/
