In September, Construction, Industry and Retail Report M/M Growth and Y/Y Decline, Show NSI Data

Sofia, November 9 (BTA) -  Preliminary National Statistical
Institute data show that in September 2020 the index of
production in the construction sector, calculated on the basis
of seasonally adjusted data, is 1.5 per cent higher than in the
previous month.

In September 2020, compared to the same month of 2019, the
calendar adjusted index of construction output decreased by 1.7
per cent.

According to preliminary data, in September 2020 the seasonally
adjusted index of industrial production increased by 2.3 per
cent compared to August 2020. In September 2020, the calendar
adjusted index of industrial production registered a decrease of
 2.6 per cent compared to the corresponding month of 2019.

According to preliminary seasonally adjusted data in September
2020 the turnover in retail trade, excluding trade in cars and
motorcycles at comparable prices increased by 2.8  per cent
compared to the previous month. In September 2020, the turnover
in retail trade, calculated on the basis of calendar adjusted
data, decreased by 6.7 per cent compared to the same month of
