General Government Sector Gross External Debt at end-September Is EUR 7519.5 Mln, 13.2% of GDP

Sofia, November 27 (BTA) - The country's gross external debt at
the end of September 2020 was 37,903 million euro (66.8 per cent
of GDP), according to the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB).
On an annual basis, the debt increased by 2,970.3 million euro
(8.5 per cent). At the end of September, long-term liabilities
amounted to 29,796.1 million euro (78.6 per cent of gross debt,
52.5 per cent of GDP), increasing by 3,403.2 million euro (12.9
per cent) on an annual basis.
The gross external debt of the general government sector at the
end of September was 7,519.5 million euro (13.2 per cent of
GDP). The external liabilities of the sector increased on an
annual basis by 2084.6 million euro (38.4 percent). NV/DT
