Household Bank Deposits Amount to Lv 59.337 Bln at End-November 2018

December 23 (BTA) - At the end of November 2020, non-governmental sector deposits amounted to 91.390 billion leva (82.3 of GDP), increasing by 9.7 per cent in one year compared to an 8.7 per cent annual increase in October 2020, the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) reported here on Wednesday.
Deposits by non-financial corporations amounted to 28.552 billion leva (25.7 per cent of GDP), at the end of November and increased by 11 per cent year-on-year. Deposits of financial enterprises increased by 18.4 per cent in one year and reached 3.501 billion leva at the end of November, or 3.2 per cent of GDP.
Deposits of households and non-profit institutions serving households at the end of November amounted to 59.337 billion leva (53.5 per cent of GDP) and increased by 8.5 per cent year-on-year.
At the end of November, loans to the non-governmental sector amounted to 65.332 billion leva (58.9 per cent of GDP). The BNB reports an increase in these loans by 4.1 per cent, compared to a 5.8 per cent year-on-year increase in October 2020.
Loans to non-financial corporations increased by 2.2 per cent on an annual basis and at the end of last month reached 35.589 billion leva - 32.1 per cent of GDP.
At the end of November, loans to households and non-profit institutions serving households amounted to 25.474 billion leva (22.9 per cent of GDP), increasing by 6.9 per cent in one year. Housing loans amounted to 11.897 billion leva and increased by 11.8 per cent year-on-year. Consumer loans amounted to 11.926 billion leva and increased by 5.4 per cent compared to November 2019.
Loans to financial corporations amounted to 4.269 billion leva (3.8 per cent of GDP) at the end of November 2020. Compared to November 2019, they increased by 3.7 per cent. RI/DT
