Investment Funds Operating in Bulgaria Increase Their Funds by 52%, Year on Year

August 20 (BTA) - The assets managed by resident and
non-resident investment funds operating in Bulgaria totalled
7,105.5 million leva as of end-June 2021, the Bulgarian National
 Bank reported on Friday. These assets increased by 2,429.3
million leva (52 per cent) year-on-year (from 4,676.1 million
leva).

The assets of resident investment funds amounted to 2,220.5
million leva as of end-June 2021, increasing by 575.3 million
leva (35 per cent) year-on-year (1,645.2 million leva).

Equity funds' assets increased by 277.1 million leva (42.8 per
cent) to 924 million leva at end-June 2021, compared with 647
million leva in June 2020.

Mixed funds, real estate investment funds and other funds'
assets grew by 69 million leva (20.3 per cent) to 409.5 million
leva, from 340.5 million leva in June 2020.

Bond funds' assets rose by 229.2 million leva (34.8 per cent) to
 887 million leva in June 2021, from 657.8 million leva in June
2020.
