at Weighted Average Yield of 0.20%
Sofia, September 21 (BTA) - On September 20, 2021, the Bulgarian Finance Ministry reopened an issue of 10.5-year lev-denominated government securities maturing on August 17, 2031, the Ministry said in a press release on Tuesday.
Government securities of an aggregate nominal value of 300 million leva were offered successfully at the auction at a weighted average yield of 0.20 per cent.
The total subscribed amount reached 508.15 million leva, which corresponds to a bid-to-cover ratio of 1.69. The spread reported as against the analogous German Bunds is 53 basis points. The participants were highly interested, with the biggest amount of government securities acquired by banks (84.3 per cent), followed by insurance companies (15.0 per cent) and other investors (0.7 per cent), the Ministry added.
