Upcoming 19th Edition to Centennial Anniversary of
Bulgarian Cinema
Sofia, January 14 (BTA) - The International Sofia Film Fest, the
biggest film festival in Bulgaria, dedicates its 19th edition
due in March to the centennial anniversary of Bulgarian cinema,
the organizers of the event said. The efforts of the organizers
of the festival will be focused on implementing the mission of
Sofia as UNESCO Creative City - Film.
The five world film cities are Bradford (Britain), Sydney
(Australia), Busan (South Korea), Galloway (Ireland), and Sofia.
UNESCO Creative Cities Network, which now comprises 69 cities,
has seven seven thematic areas: Craft and Folk Arts, Design,
Film, Gastronomy, Literature, Media Arts and Music. LY /ZH/
